Elizabeth’s parents couldn’t afford to send her to college. But Elizabeth enrolled in Northern Virginia Community College and earned a degree in Office Administration and Management. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Public Safety from Capella University and two Master’s degrees. She has a Master’s in Public Administration from American University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California.
Now, Elizabeth works as a public administrator and social worker. She currently works as the Division Chief for Administrative Services for the Center for Adult Services for the City of Alexandria. She also works as a Court Appointed Service Advocate for CASA CIS to prevent child abuse.
Elizabeth is very involved in her children’s after-school activities in the community, serving as a PTO representative at Penn Elementary School. She is an active member of the Hispanic community and her Catholic church.
A long-time resident of Prince William County, Elizabeth wants to work to unite the community, rather than threaten and divide it, like she sees some other elected officials doing. She will fight to grow the economy, expand access to healthcare, and invest in schools.
